01-E-commerce Department - Coco



Coco, could you briefly introduce yourself so that we can have a better understanding of you?
I joined Jiulong in February 2017 and have been working for almost 6 years. I am currently a golden salesperson in the e-commerce department. Like most of people, I also enjoy traveling, walking around, eating delicious food, and watching beautiful scenery. I also schedule time to practice yoga on weekends.
I hope to achieve financial freedom and travel around the world as soon as possible.
Please talk about your changes and improvements after joining Jiulong.
I have been with the company for 6 years. From the beginning as a foreign trade novice, to a junior salesperson, then an intermediate and senior level, and now to be promoted to as a golden salesperson last year. I have accumulated a lot of time and experience. At the beginning, I had to ask for advice from my manager, then later when I can place orders and deal with most of thing by myself, I became proficient gradually.
I have also accumulated from small order transactions to large order transactions, including transitioning from traditional salespersons to e-commerce business, and adapting to the change in business order receiving mode for a period of time. I feel like I am a senior salesperson who can switch between both business models.



As an Alibaba golden salesperson, what experience do you have that you can share with new employees?
As a member of the e-commerce department, I come into contact with many new customers every day. The prices of e-commerce platforms are transparent, and customers can easily compare the price. How to seize customers and make them place orders has become a crucial aspect.
Generally, you need to be quick, accurate to the customers when complete an e-commerce transaction. To new customers, the response must be timely, and the basic response should be controlled within 2 hours. The price should be reasonable, and the corresponding product images should be provided. The delivery time should be fast, which basically meets these requirements. Customers will also feel that you are a reliable seller. If the customer really has a true order, the speed of finalizing orders becomes very important when the price is comepetitive.
Have you encountered any challenges at work? How did you overcome it?
E-commerce will face many new products, so the speed of understanding new products needs to be accelerated. It is common to encounter situations when the products are not familiar. For general new products, if there are many inquiries, try to create a detailed quotation table and send it to the customer for review as soon as possible.If possible, it is recommended to conduct on-site at the factory to gain an understanding of the product line and increase familiarity with natural products.
What are your prospects for yourself and the company in the future?
Firstly, I hope that the company will be better and achieve the company's "3-34" ten-year strategic plan as soon as possible. Secondly, I also hope to lead the Alibaba e-commerce team to break through the sales of 200W this year, and steadily grow every year. I hope that the Alibaba e-commerce department can also become the main force of Jiulong as soon as possible.

Celine, please briefly introduce yourself.
Hello, I am Wang Lanzhen. I joined Jiulong in February 2017 and my current department position is Senior Supervisor.
My hobbies are reading and yoga. Yoga not only cultivates one's body, but also cultivates one's mind, improving one's posture, cultivating one's temperament, and making one more disciplined. It's really good to practice yoga for a while during busy work. I hope to have financial freedom and time freedom. The current motto is: sobriety, self-discipline, knowing progress and retreat, knowing gains and losses!

It is a great honor to have been awarded this honor twice. Thanks for the department leaders and colleagues for their recognition and affirmation of me. This is both an encouragement and a spur for me. I will maintain my original intention and continue to work hard!

A foreign trade salesperson is actually a salesperson. As a salesperson, their main job is to develop and maintain customers. Developing customers is a long process, especially in our traditional industries. Sometimes the developing can be several months, a year, or even several years, so it requires sufficient patience and perseverance.
Usually, when developing clients, I will first do a good job of background tracking, so as to know oneself and the other. There are also many tools available online to assist in developing customer, and the company also provides some platforms to help us, such as Tengdao, LinkedIn, Google Map, customs data, and so on.
After completing the background tracking, the next step is to continue to follow up, you need clearly knowing what you need to accomplish. Then we need to establish a customer tracking table that is suitable for our own and suitable customers, which is very important as it can help us record the entire process well and play a good role in reviewing. Furthermore, it is important to learn how to categorize and organize customers, and adopt different follow-up methods for different customers. I am also slowly learning and accumulating, and we can discuss and exchange ideas together in our daily work.
What do you want to say to the team members?
The atmosphere in our department is very good, with leaders and colleagues full of positive energy and not too concerned about failure. Everyone persist in accumulation, update work methods, and strive for the same goal at the end of the year.
I want to tell my friends that although the data from the previous few months was not satisfactory, don't worry, do the current thing well. I believe that hardworking will always pay off, and the results will not be too bad.
What are your prospects for yourself and the company in the future?
Advancing with difficulties, facing the current, and growing in adversity is the true growth. Starting from myself, I hope to continue to help clients explore new businesses and projects, research their existing business, cultivate good clients, enhance their stickiness, and establish a mutual trust and interdependence customer relationship, so that clients can receive professional, efficient, and trustworthy services.

03-Procurement Department - Sandy



Sandy, please introduce yourself so that we can have a better understanding of you.
Hello, I currently hold the positions of Deputy Manager and General Manager Assistant in the company's procurement department. I usually enjoy reading books, watching scenery, and climbing mountains.
Every weekend, I get up early and go hiking, take a break, walk and stop, and eventually get to the top of the mountain to witness the beautiful scenery. I only care about feeling for climbing. In order to enjoy the process of climbing, I don't care about whether I can climb to the top of mountain.
Sandy, what was your original intention to come with? What have you gained?
I joined Jiulong on March 27, 2013, and it has been ten years since then. I still remember when I came for the interview, it was Mr. Jin who interviewed me. At that time, Jiulong was full of vitality and positivity, which push me grow and develop day by day.
As an excellent employee who has worked at Jiulong for ten years, what do you want to say to yourself and Jiulong?
Ten years is not easy. I have studied in many positions during my 10 years in Jiulong, including finance, document, procurement, and assistant to the general manager. I have learned a lot and accumulated a lot along the way. Jiulong has also grown from 500000 US dollars to over 40 million US dollars now, only those who have experienced the ups and downs during this period can deeply appreciate it.
During this period, being the abilities, foresight, and various incentives of our company leaders, each of us fully realize our potential. This decade is not an end point, but another starting point. Looking forward to the next decade!
What aspects do you think you should achieve to become an advanced employee of the company?
Firstly, he/she must be an upward person, proactive, willing to contribute, with strong learning ability and a strong sense of responsibility.
As a purchaser, it is even more necessary to have strong pressure resistance: be able to maintain a good working state with a good mental outlook in the face of customer complaints or price pressures, and not let work pressure affect work efficiency; Having independent thinking ability: able to analyze problems from an objective perspective, analyze the root causes of problems, and find effective solutions within limited time.



How do you plan to improve yourself in your future work after 2023?
Improve one's weaknesses, leverage one's strengths, and work with department managers to drive the enthusiasm and initiative of all colleagues. Achieve annual departmental and company goals, and complete the first small level of $50 million as soon as possible. Looking forward to the listing of Jiulong one day in the future!
